The Purpose
The purpose of the Society is to advance theological and pastoral understanding of the place of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Christian churches and to promote ecumenical prayer and reflection.

The ESBVM, USA branch, Spring meeting was held at the First Congregational Church of Walton, New York, United Church of Christ, on May 9.  See the program under News.  We post an audio discussion held at that meeting concerning a model for an ecumenical Day of Prayer and Reflection on Mary, the mother of Christ.
